At Aspire, we always incorporate Preventative Care, Core Training, Functional Training, and Heart Rate Monitoring (optional) as an integral part of each training session :


Preventative Care

Preventative Care means we address your specific health and fitness needs. We and, if you wish, your Doctor or other health professionals will tailor your fitness program to help prevent or improve chronic health conditions (blood pressure, diabetes, etc), or musculoskeletal concerns (neck, spine, knees, etc).


Core Training

Core Training strengthens and conditions the muscles and soft tissues in and around the abdominals and lower back. Developing a strong and fit core decreases your risk of everyday injury and leads to a more productive workout so you get better results.


Heart Rate Monitoring

Heart Rate Monitoring - We encourage the use of a Heart Rate Monitor during training sessions at Aspire. Heart Rate Monitoring allows you and your trainer to determine the appropriate workout intensity, whether the goal is weight loss (fat burning) or conditioning (endurance, strength or power).


Functional Training

Functional Training at Aspire refers to exercises that use many muscle groups working together to produce quality movements. Our trainers will teach you the exercises and then monitor you to assure you have the proper form. Functional Training exercises allow you to perform activities of daily living more easily and without injury. Functional Training involves mainly weight bearing activities targeted at core muscles of the abdomen and lower back). Most fitness facilities have a variety of weight training machines which target and isolate specific muscles. Functional training attempts to adapt or develop exercises which allow individuals to perform the activities of daily life more easily and without injuries
